What a beautiful January we have had! Temperatures up in the 40’s and 50’s with lots and lots of sunshine. We are loving it.
Here comes Miss Fluff Puff—our 17-year-old cat—down toward the house from the barn to let us know that it’s time to go do the chores. She’s telling us the goats are hungry and so is she! We have learned that her favorite food is the moist and succulent paté, so of course that’s what she gets.
It’s nice to have such a dedicated member of the team, you know, who takes her job of looking after the goats—especially the babies that were just born this month—very seriously. All that work of being the Super Cat Nanny takes up a lot of calories!

So we walk back up to the barn with Miss Fluff Puff between us and thank her for the effort she puts in. We really appreciate her and love her—how could we not? She is the prettiest and wisest barn cat we have ever had.
