Dutton had a great start in life as a young buck. He won first place in his 0-3 month old category at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colorado in January 2023. He was definitely on his way to stardom.
Unfortunately, following the show, doctors discovered that he had a broken back leg.
Dutton was lucky to be born on a ranch where his owner really cared about her animals. She spent hours and hours, day after day, trying to help Dutton heal.

Through the course of this healing process, she became very attached to him.
After he was able to walk on his own again, she allowed Dutton to go to another ranch where he might have the chance to actually BE a buck.

SWAN VIEW RANCH welcomes Dutton. We sincerely hope that he will be able to produce some of his own young kids. He is sure a beauty and we appreciate the time his former owner put into helping him to recover.
